Master of Science Thesis for the degree of Master of Science in Embedded Systems at Delft University of Technology studying drinking water treatment plants and how to improve their operation through the analysis of the Oldeholtpade Treatment Plant, overviewing subspace identification using Multivariable Output Error State Space (MOESP) and simulations for Past Output-Multivariable Output Error State Space (PO-MOESP), as well as system identification strategies using Prediction Error Method (PEM) and system identification for iron. Finally the work compares the different models and shares the PO-MOESP simulations results, comparing the MOESP Multi-Input and Single-Output (MISO) system VS the PEM MISO.
