Describe WOPs activities
The Malaga Water District did not have adequate staff to meet emergency repair needs, and the Chelan County Public Utility District was able to provide that assistance. The utility districts also recognized that there may be times when the Chelan County Public Utility District will need assistance from the Malaga Water District. Through the ongoing interlocal agreement, the utility districts provide mutual aid to each other to make necessary repairs during emergencies.
